About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business and Finance team as Payroll Officer in a part time 0.5 F.T.E capacity, based in Victor Harbor.


Reporting directly to the Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of accurate and timely payroll services to CLO. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently assist with end to end processing of the organisation's payroll
  • Maintaining accurate and complete employee records in payroll and related systems
  • Assisting with the processing of payroll on time and filing payroll reports and statutory returns 
  • Providing assistance and advice to all CLO employees regarding payroll enquires 
  • Check and action correspondence as required
  • Directly support the objectives of the Business and Finance team through active team participation.
  • Any other finance related tasks as directed, including support with leave cover

Qualifications and Essential Licences:

  • Tertiary Qualifications (Diploma or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar 
  • DHS/DCSI Disability-Related Clearance 
  • Current Driver's Licence 

You will also possess: 

  • Advanced IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office
  • Experience using payroll packages (Sybiz, EmpLive and Visipay desirable) 
  • Demonstrated understanding of record keeping and file management 
  • Demonstrated ability to set realistic objectives and meet deadlines 
  • Understanding and knowledge of the NDIS environment 
  • High level problem solving and business administration skills
